Terms of service.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms of service govern your use of nuanced.cloud and any services offered by Nuance. By booking a lesson, purchasing a product, or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
1. Provider identification
This service is operated by Henri-Pierre Corbett, sole trader (auto-entrepreneur) operating under the commercial name "Nuance," registered at 12 Boulevard Desgranges, 92330 Sceaux, France. Contact: henri@nuanced.cloud.
2. Description of services
Nuance offers the following services:
- 1-on-1 Lessons: 25, 50, or 80-minute video sessions with personalised homework and progress tracking.
- 30-Day Campaigns: structured programs with daily exercises, AI-assisted feedback, and a live checkpoint at the end.
3. Pricing
Current prices are displayed on the website and at checkout. All prices are in euros (€) and no VAT is added. Henri-Pierre Corbett is a French micro-entrepreneur:
- Lessons: exempt from VAT under article 261, 4-4°-b of the French Tax Code (lessons given personally by the teacher).
- 30-Day Campaigns and their extras: VAT not applicable under article 293 B of the French Tax Code (VAT franchise for small businesses).
Each invoice states the article that applies.
4. Booking and payment
We accept:
- Credit/debit card via Stripe (secure payment)
- Bank transfer (SEPA)
For lessons and lesson packs, payment is due before the first session. For subscriptions, billing is monthly or annual depending on your choice. For campaigns, full payment is due at enrolment.
5. Cancellation and rescheduling
Lessons
You can cancel or reschedule a lesson up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged in full.
30-Day Campaigns
Campaigns cannot be paused once started (content is delivered from day one). See our refund policy for refund conditions.
Live sessions with Henri-Pierre (the checkpoint, the coaching sessions and the pre-interview session, whether included in your plan or bought as an extra) can be moved up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. If you miss a session without notice, it can be rebooked once. A second session missed without notice cannot be rebooked.
A pre-interview session bought as an extra can be booked within 60 days of purchase.
6. Right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code), you have 14 days from purchase to withdraw, with no reason needed.
30-Day Campaigns
When you pay, you tick a box asking for your course to start straight away and accepting that you lose your right of withdrawal once you open the course content (article L221-28, 13°). Your enrolment email confirms this. Until you open the content, you can still withdraw within the 14 days and get a full refund.
Lessons
If you ask for a lesson to take place within the 14 days, the first session starts the service. If you withdraw after that, you pay only for the lessons already taken (article L221-25). Unused lessons are refunded in full.
To withdraw, email henri@nuanced.cloud, or use the model withdrawal form below.
7. Student obligations
- Provide accurate information when registering
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Respect your teacher and the materials provided
- Do not redistribute, resell, or copy the educational content
8. Intellectual property
All educational content (exercises, drills, corrections, videos, lesson materials) remains the intellectual property of Henri-Pierre Corbett. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use this content for the duration of your relationship with Nuance.
9. Liability
Nuance commits to delivering quality teaching but cannot guarantee specific outcomes (e.g. obtaining a particular exam score or job). Progress depends on your engagement, your starting level, and the time you dedicate to learning.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned, within the limits permitted by French law.
10. Changes
These terms may evolve. Significant changes will be notified by email and displayed on this page. Services in progress remain governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you have a problem, please contact us first at henri@nuanced.cloud: most issues are solved quickly that way.
Consumer mediation. If a dispute is not resolved after a written complaint to us, you can refer it free of charge to our consumer mediator (French Consumer Code, articles L612-1 and following): MCP Médiation de la Consommation & Patrimoine, 12 square Desnouettes, 75015 Paris, France, mcpmediation.org, where you can file your request online. You must do so within one year of your written complaint. MCP handles requests in French. You can also go to the French courts.
